This memory foam quilted model of our L&K collection features Gel memory foam right on top of the innerspring, 3 inches of gel memory foam in the pillow top and memory foam in the quilting for a unique, supple and conforming feel.
We've combined the personal comfort of gel memory foam with the support and durability of an advanced innerspring. The L&K line is built on a coil system, but its not your typical spring mattress. Our pocketed coil technology creates a sleeping surface where springs act independently, isolating movement while still offering increased pressure relief and a custom feel.
Our L&K beds are loaded with memory gel that provides sleeping at the right temperature (to ensure deeper sleep), pressure relief for greater blood flow which means less tossing and turning and more restorative sleep and a more buoyant sleeping surface so you don't have to fight to get in and out of bed
Our quilted L&K mattresses feature memory foam in the quilting (unlike name brands) which means you have the higher density (more durable and more supportive) pressure relieving padding right on top of the sleep surface.
And all of our L&K mattresses have Quantum Edge Technology which makes for better seating support and more usable sleeping space (you can sleep right on the edge of the bed without feeling like you are fixing to fall out of the bed).

Memory gel: Memory gel is the mix of gel (like what is found in premium shoe inserts for cushioning and support) and high density plant based memory foam. We mix the two compounds together in their liquid form and bake them out to make memory Gel. Memory gel is designed to be a better sleeping surface: 1) Memory gel helps to alleviate pressure by cradling your body instead of pushing against your body for superior pressure relief. 2) Its also a more buoyant sleeping surface which allows you to move more easily in (without that stuck feeling) and adds overall support for your body 3) Memory gel absorbs excess body heat and disperses it which allows you to sleep at the optimal sleeping temperature.
Memory foam quilting: Mattresses either have a smooth cover (the top layer you sleep on) or they are quilted with some sort of design. Quilting is added for looks and comfort. 1) We use uniquely designed memory foam that is very dense and durable, yet plush enough to be quilted. 2) Not only is it very durable but this type of quilting adds a unique feel that provides extra cushioning and added pressure relief right on top of the mattress.
High density layers of padding: All mattresses have differing types of foams to provide certain feels. This is what makes a firm bed firm and what makes a soft bed soft. These layers are for your comfort and support. 1) We only use high density layers of foam padding. Whether its our super soft or extra firm layers of padding, we only use high quality, high density foam padding. 2) The more dense foam is the more durable it typically is. Density is weight per cubic foot and most mattresses have 1.2 lb-1.5 lb. density foam, but in all of our L & K products we use 2.3 lb. foam or better for more support, comfort and durability. Our foam is heavy but that's a good thing. We use heavier foams than most major name brands so our foam compacts less over a period of time and remains supportive for many years to come.
Handles on all four sides: handles are helpful in allowing the mattress to be adjusted on the box springs and for better maneuverability.
